MUSKOKA – etched in time

Charcoal drawings on glass of Muskoka’s rich history.

This historical glass wall was a 2 year project for Bonnie. Her inspiration came when renovations started on her past studio, hidden in the Livery walls were old newspapers dating back to the late 1800’s. It was then that the vision of something grand needed to be drawn.

24 glass panels depicted Muskoka’s historical events. From the time of the First Nation hunters to the land surveyors, free land grants all the way to local business who have been here since Muskoka became a place on the map of Canada.
